Whoo, this is so awesome. Well, where to begin. I am Yvette, the aspiring mangaka. I know the seasoned artist can tell, but for those of you starting out, I'm a self taught artist. I've never taken an art class in my life O_O is true. I started out just copying out of mangas, I'd go to a page, then draw it larger. After than came the fan art, I was really inspired by Sailor Moon (which is not mine and I use this name with ABSOLUTELY NO intent of profit). I'd take the characters and bend them. Still, I grew tired of doing that, I wanted to do my own thing, so I tried making my own characters and people. I learned the hard way that just because your a fanart drawer or copy artist, it DOES NOT mean that you can draw for shit. Still I pushed my...talents iguess, I drew constantly, at home, in class, during lunch. I always accepted criticism, from those who view my stuff, I believe that if you don't accept criticism, then your just lying to yourself. So yeah, anyways here I am 4 years later, still drawing, I love it, I can't stop doing it. I'd go crazy if I couldn't draw.
